ဒီစာတိုလေးဘာလို့ရေးဖြစ်သလဲကနေစပြောပါ့မယ်။ ကျွန်မအတွက် ကိုယ့်ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်အနီးအနားမှာတွေ့ရတာလေးတွေက ကျွန်မစာတိုလေးတွေအတွက်ကုန်ကြမ်းပါပဲ။ ကျွန်မရဲ့ တပည့်ဟောင်းတစ်ယောက်သူ့မှာ ၁နှစ်ကျော်ခါစလေးဘဲရှိတဲ့ အရမ်းချစ်စရာကောင်းတဲ့ သားလေးရှိတယ် (ကလေးတိုင်းချစ်စရာကောင်းကြပါတယ်)။ သူ့ရဲ့နေ့စဉ်လှုပ်ရှားသွားလာပုံလေးတွေ Facebook မှာနေ့တိုင်းမြင်နေကြပေါ့။ တနေ့က သူတို့တင်ထားတဲ့ video လေးမှာ ကျွန်မတပည့် ကလေးအမေဖြစ်သူက သူ့သားလေးကို "မေမေ့ကိုချစ်လား" လို့မေးတဲ့အခါ စကားစပြောခါစ သူ့သားလေးက "ချစ်" လို့ဖြေလိုက်ပါတယ်။ အဲ့ဒီ့အခါမှာ အမေဖြစ်သူက "Thank you သားသား" လို့ပြောလိုက်ချိန်မှာ တနှစ်နဲ့တစ်လသာရှိသေးတဲ့ ကလေးရဲ့ပြုံးလိုက်တဲ့ မျက်နှာလေးက စကားလုံးနဲ့ဖေါ်ပြမရလောက်အောင်ပါပဲ။ အဲဒီ့မှာ ကျွန်မတွေးမိတာက ကျွန်မတို့ ယဉ်ကျေးမှုပါ။ ကိုယ့်ယဉ်ကျေးမှုကိုဝေဖန်တာ ဆန့်ကျင်တာမဟုတ်ပါဘူးနော်။ ကျွန်မတို့ "ကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်" ကိုတခြားသူတွေ ကျောင်း၊ အလုပ်၊ စီးပွားရေး အစရှိသဖြင့်မှာပြောကြပေမယ့် အရမ်းရင်းနှီးမိတ်ဆွေ အိမ်သူအိမ်သား မောင်နှမသားခြင်းတွေကြားမှာ သုံးရင် တစိမ်းဆန်တယ်လို့ယူဆကြပါတယ်။ Thank you ကိုလေးလေးနက်နက်နဲ့ ပြောကျင့်ရှိတဲ့မိသားစုမှာကြီးပြင်းလာခဲ့တဲ့ ကျွန်မ အခုစာတိုလေးကိုရေးဖို့စိတ်ကူးရလာတာပါ။ Thank you (ကျေးဇူး) ဆိုတဲ့ စကားတိုလေးဟာ တဖက်သားရဲ့ စိတ်ရင်ထဲမှာ ဘယ်လောက်သက်ရောက်မှုရှိလဲဆိုတာ ကျွန်မပြောစရာလိုမယ်မထင်ပါ။ တခြားသူတွေကိုတောင် ကျွန်မတို့ "ကျေးဇူး" ပြောသေးတာ ကိုယ့်အိမ်သူ အိမ်သား မောင်နှမ ရင်းနှီးသူတွေကိုနေ့စဉ်နေ့တိုင်း စကားနဲ့ပိုမပြောသင့်ပါပေဘူးလား။ ကဲအခုကစ ကျေးဇူး Thank you ကိုအိမ်မှာပိုပြောကျင့်ကြရအောင်နော်။ ကျွန်မစာတိုလေးက ထုံးစံအတိုင်း စာဖတ်လေ့ကျင့်မှုရအောင်သာ အခြားဆောင်းပါးတွေကိုမှီငြမ်းပြီး အကျဉ်းချုံးရေးထားတာမို့ အလုံးစုံတော့ဖေါ်မပြထားပါဘူး။ အားလုံးကိုကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်။

Saying “Thank you” is simple. We hear it in our everyday language. The two magic words “Thank you” do matter because they express one of our most basic emotions: gratitude. It is a simple gesture of showing respect to the person who gives you something or does something for you. With “thank you”, we show our appreciation, affection, respect and recognition. Thus, it is simple yet very powerful.

We all grow up, being taught to say “thank you”, and we again teach our young generation to say “thank you” to show our appreciation and convey our gratitude. Speaking of teaching to say “Thank you”, we may wonder when we can start teaching our children, who we say it to, where or when we say it, and how we say it.

 

Start young

Children begin to start saying their first words between ten or 15 months. Even before they start speaking, you can instil the words “Thank you” in your child by saying it to them when they perform some little things you ask them to do. They may be too young to understand what these two words mean but subconsciously you have instilled a habit of saying “thank-you” in your child before his or her own attempt at a verbal thank-you.

 

Start simple

 

We want our children to say thank you, and so we need to make sure that we are doing it ourselves. We should never forget to say “thank you” to our child for a completed task no matter how simple or easy it is. By doing so, children will learn to be thankful by simply remembering to say “thank you”.

 

Be genuine

 

A “thank-you” habit or courtesy is good but a “thank-you” that comes from the heart is better. Anyone can say the words, but a genuine heart will not just utter, but show, thanks. So, do not say “thank you” too easily just out of habit or courtesy. Make sure your “thank-you” is connected to your heart.
